Giving and receiving feedback is hard. We avoid it because we do not want to confront our peers or team members and make workplace interactions awkward. It does not have to be this way. Attendees will walk away equipped with tips and techniques to give timely, authentic, and consistent feedback that contributes to a healthy, open, and caring environment.
This is a practical topic that is not part of any college coursework and specific training is not provided as on-boarding for early career attendees or necessarily part of professional development training in most organizations. Knowing how to give and act on feedback will enable attendees to contribute effectively to a healthy team environment while navigating difficult situations in the workplace with confidence.
